It's a low risk signing for the Jets. Worst case scenario is he is cut in training camp. No big deal.

If he sucks, he gets cut, no big deal. If he shows any semblance of his pre-injury self, then the Jets get a big force on their front seven. The first scenario is far more likely, but it's still a low risk/high reward move that had to be made.

Didn't stop us from signing Bowens relatively cheap. :evil:

Is this guy is in any type of NFL shape? 6 years removed, I highly doubt it. Well I wouldn't expect him to make the roster anyways.

Tim will tell, from what they are saying, he showed up chiseled and in shape.

A few mini-camps will tell everything. Who knows, could be a solid backup.

Losing Bowens hurts our Depth, he is a solid back up, but nothing more.
