that sucks. his absence on the field was a big reason the jets lost. after he left, they had 2 fumbles on the center/QB exchange.
he is a truly great player. and hall of fame bound. Edit: i remember him leaving the game, then comming back, only to leave again. i think he tried to play with the injury, but couldnt. but like i said, a truly great lineman.

While I love seeing the Jets suck, I can't cheer injuries to even those on their roster. That's really too bad for Mawae.

oh well, i dont like to cheer about injuries but losing Mawae is going to take bigger toll on the Jets more than losing noodle-armed pennington. Hopefully when we play them at home, we'll be able to expose Mawae's absence.

This is going to make Vinny second guess coming back. Mawae was a beast of a center and this is a HUGE loss.
