"Eric Deters, one of Gary's attorneys, said the lawsuit could be refiled if more was learned about Walsh's involvement in the Patriots' taping practices. That could happen when/if Walsh speaks to the NFL."
It is not over.

There's going to be protection given to New England eventually for these stupid lawsuits. If anyone is going to penalize New England, it will be the NFL and perhaps Congress, not just some stupid season ticket holder/fan that went to the Super Bowl/ex player that probably didn't even play a snap.
I know fans and players around the league may feel cheated, but that's just stupid. Perhaps it was a sign of boycott, to get everyone else to jump on his wagon, or perhaps just for publicity, but god, did he really think he was going to make 100 mill from the Patriots? If that's the case, everyone should sue the Patriots and try to get 100 million from them.

Well, first, let's see the video first and see if they did in fact cheat on the Super Bowl. Right now, it is not fact, though I wouldn't doubt it either.
As far as gambling goes, if those people went bankrupt because of Vegas, then they really need to go see someone about their gambling problem, though if they are currently are without a home, I doubt they can afford that. Either way, who actually gambles on the Super Bowl nowadays? With the exception of this Giants' Super Bowl, there has been a ton of one sided officiating especially the Seattle-Pittsburgh Super Bowl. Let me not even mention the AFC Championship game with the tuck rule and all. I think you all should see the pattern and withdraw your bets from now on.Either way, yeah, this whole situation has created a huge mess on the league, Vegas, etc. That's why, when/if the Patriots are found guilty, the punishment IMO will be very severe, and the fans will be happy about it. You all are thinking little right now with banning Belicheck from the league, taking away their Super Bowl banners, etc. I think the NFL has something much bigger up their sleeve to go "good" with Congress. This is a very serious matter, very serious.

I don't believe this suit ever had or will have legs to win a victory in a court of law which is where it would be heard. Taping a walk thru is one thing but i also believe there will be a burden of proof required that the game was actually won as a direct effect of that walk thru taping. If the rams walk thru consisted of the red zone plays only how would you explain they scored every time they actually made it into the red zone?
