Ronnie would have been the best player in the 2005 draft even if Leinart and Ferguson had come out. However, people sometimes pass on the best player available to fill the "glory " position of quarterback.

I thank the maker that Leinart stayed in school. He didn't screw us, he saved this franchise from being set back another 5 years like the Niners are as they try to make this project QB of theirs work.
