Len Pasquarelli fellates Moss, Brady, Pats - they are as good as cursed

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/column...t&lid=tab3pos1

Quote:
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Halfway through a seven-on-seven red zone passing drill Tuesday morning, New England quarterback Tom Brady unleashed a laser that appeared destined to clang off the goalpost crossbar at the far end of the Patriots' practice field.
Running an inside crossing route from his outside left vantage point, and with just a hair of separation between himself and free safety Eugene Wilson at the back of the end zone, wide receiver Randy Moss propelled himself toward the football with a burst. And just as the Brady aerial reached the apex of its trajectory, it intersected the highest point of Moss' leap, about 18 inches below the crossbar.
And slammed into the Velcro mitts of the newest addition to the Pats' offensive arsenal.
There was, rather incredibly, barely a reaction on the field from players or coaches to the athleticism demonstrated by pitcher and catcher on the play. No whistles. No hoots. Not a single attaboy offered. Brady did, after all, only what has come to be expected now, delivering the pass with surgical precision, and into a small window of opportunity.

I don't need any new beginnings. I've already had two of those. I'm sort of enthused and energized about being here. I like what I see so far.

Randy Moss
rather than a romantic one?

I thought it was Peter King who held the cursed touch?

Moss, so it goes, is like the little girl with the curl in the middle of her forehead. When she's good she's very very good, when she's bad, she's horrible.

Aside from being a little longer in the tooth, which may frustrate him due to declining ability, a loosing streak to start the year may have him reverting to late Vikings, recent Raiders form.

The Pats face two division rivals and two potential contenders right out of the gate. The two they are most likely to drop are road games at San Diego and Cincinnati.

Loosing both division games is unlikely...but

They Play the Jets at home in their opener. You know both teams will be pumped and the Jets have payback on their minds. The Bills usually play pretty well at N.E. Or at least seem to give them a run for their money every 2nd game and could pull off an upset.

It would just be tooooo sweet to see Randy crabbing and bitching and pacing the sidelines, or sitting silent and alone, arms folded and pouting come mid October.

Maybe a bit of both. Here's hoping.

Man, that sucks.

Here I thought we would have a good year and all and now went on the internet and learned we won't. Oh well.

I feel the same way about our chances. At least neither of us have to worry about missing any games since we know the outcome.

The SD game is at Foxboro, not on the road. The rest of your post is whistling past the graveyard. For the record, the only position they are old in is LB. Adalius Thomas should help there. The rest of the team is actually quite young.

I read the sched. wrong and only refered to Moss as getting up there, a bit, in yrs. Big deal.

Don't take what I wrote or yourself and your team so seriously.

It's a nonsense post. Thats not too hard for most to get. So lighten up.
