The Fins' secondary is their proverbial "weakest link". Teams that are successful in neutralizing the Miami rush will pick it apart if they have good QBs. That the Fins seriously considered Jason Allen as a starter this season pretty much tells the tale of the Miami secondary. J Allen may become a good DB (not sure if they will play him at S or CB) eventually, but he's probably not much more than a nickel back this year. If he has to start this year, I don't think it will be pretty -- at least from Miami's POV.

Ramseys outthere, Chads got the job, followed by Clemens(steal of the draft) and Bolinger(and his low cap number) can carry the clipboard.

Pennington is the starter.

Jets quarterback Chad Pennington won the starting job, but he will be missing a key member of the offense when the regular season starts.
Running back Curtis Martin will start the year on the physically-unable-to-perform list with a lingering knee injury after missing all of training camp. Coach Eric Mangini made both announcements, which seemed to be foregone conclusions.
