Does anyone have any Flutie Flakes boxes I can stomp on? Flutie is the single most overrated football player Ive ever seen. He was a TERRIBLE NFL Qb, Im so sick of everyone lappin on his rocks like hes a great player. People have this weird short person love affair with him that I find disturbing, its like everyone under 5'10 tears up when he plays and says 'hes like me playing Qb out there'. Rudie-syndrome or something like that.

Mare had twice as many Xp's as cFLutie, and made 4 FGs including two from beyond 40 yards. That compared to a kicker(and we're judging them based on ST plays) who kicked a XP. Whippeedee-do! A lot of ST players did more than a XP(Chad Morton had a long Punt return) and this is very unfair to them

Dude your signature is awesome, that is so true. Flutie has no reason to be hanging around the NFL anymore, hes just an attention whore.
Can you imagine the BS we will have to listen too if the Pats win the Superbowl? Im sure Flutie will get an award for most valuable clipboard holder or something for his contribution to the title.

Sorry, what was the score again?

The only thing? So that drop kick was better than your team winning the SB? And, BTW, we won the game! Let's make a deal: You can drop kick XP's every game against us if we can get the W
Deal?

Converting an extrapoint can lead to player of the week now? Why is the NFL rewardng these BS gimmicks.

Now that's just stupid.

Just because it was a novelty kick (still worth just one point, mind you), he gets special teams player of the week?

It isn't like when Wes Welker won it, when he basically bailed his team out that one week in 2004 by being a jack of all trades. Flutie just kicked an extra point.

Far more deserving people for that award.

At least its better than TEDDY winning comeback player of the year for not doing squat. I would be pissed if I was steve smith and had to share the award with a guy that didnt do a 10th of what he did.
