My girlfriend and I were watching the play when it happened and I said Junior is down. Then when we saw the lower half of his arm just dangling there we kind of just looked at each other in horror then a few explicatives later we knew his career was over. Sad but you shouldn't have gone to the Patriots Junior! Get well soon.

That's probably the most cold hearted comment I've heard in a while. I don't care who a guy plays for or how much we may dislike him as Phin fans, I would never wish that kind of injury on anyone. If you don't have any sympathy for someone after a gruesome injury like that, I feel sorry for you.

Didn't know your hand was up near your elbow.

If you read my post I never said you wished injury upon anyone. I said I wouldn't. The point I was trying to get across was that, in my opinion, if you don't feel sympathy towards a guy who's career has likely just been ended, who has to deal with horrific pain and tough rehabilitation, then I believe something is wrong with you.

DolfanDaveInATX is an unknown quantity at this point
I've actually seen that happen twice before. One time, a guy on my soccer team got bumped while backpedaling and somehow got his forearm caught between his legs as he was falling backwards. The other time, a running back on our freshman football team had a guy land on him as he was going to the ground so that his ball-carrying arm was perpendicular to the ground instead of parallel. Both were really stomach turning.

WTF? That injury was nowhere near his elbow... It looked like his wrist was shattered.

Looked like the type of break that Joe Theisman had on his leg back in the 80's, only to his arm.

Get well Junior.

Junior Seau

It appears Junior Seau has suffered a broken right arm in the Bears/Patriots game, meaning he is likely out for the season.

Even though he went to the Pats, I just wanted to say I feel bad for him. Tough luck and I hope he makes a speedy recovery.

At his age, the man is truly and inspiration and has my utmost respect.
