Oh how the NFL loves the Patriots

Even thought the Pats didn't make the Super Bowl they still found a way to get them to be involved. Tom Brady will be flipping the coin. This is pathetic.

To heck with that. They need to get Wellington Mara's granddaughter to flip the coin. At least she's cute.

Oh God tell me your joking

If your gonna have a player flip the coin how about Brett Favre, A guy with 2 rings that could be retiring.

Other than him no-one I repeat No-one should be flipping the coin other than a retired player or a referee

Hey I've got an idea. Didn't a REALLY GOOD QB with a lot of passing records get inducted into the Hall of Fame this year?

I also remember he was considered as one of the most deserving to go to the Super Bowl, but never had the team and never got there after his rookie season?

Why not honor him and let him flip the coin, huh? Hmmm...

thats f***en pathetic!!! well at least he's not playing in it ....Sorry Brady, but you will have to take a seat after the coin toss

Heck im surprised they didnt let Bettis do the coin flip....you know, with all that homecoming mumbo jumbo crap....but then again, theyd be scared to have another coin toss contreversy like the one Bettis was involved in before LoL

Crybabies. You're adults, get over it. It's sports for Pete's sake, not your life hanging in the balance. Your jealousy is transparent at best.

Even I think it is lame to have Brady do the coin flip, but do you really need a thread where you can whine about it?

Now who wants beer?!

favre only has 1 ring

the NFL is paying tribute to all the past superbowl MVPs, Brady has 2 in the past 4 years. he should be honored.

Yeah I know I was thinking he beat the Broncos for some odd reason

I should have said He's been to 2 and won 1

You dont honor players unless they break a record, or are retiring

This is just dumb
