Patriots Workout TestaverdeVinny Testaverde worked out for the Patriots Tuesday.
Most likely, New England is just covering their bases to be ready in case Tom Brady or Matt Cassel gets hurt. Perhaps they think Brady needs a veteran to rely on. Source: NBCSports.com Um...Why Vinny? Well, I guess holding a clipboard making a few hundred thousand a year is good enough reason.

It's a set up.
Mangini paid Vinny off and got him a workout with the Patsies for the whole "tampering" incident with Deion Branch. Next thing you know, bam! Tom Brady has a busted knee and Vinny is throwing his Louisville slugger in a tree shredder 2 blocks away from the hospital during an away game. ...or I could just drink too much caffeine.
