Pats QC Coach Promoted....The New England Patriots promoted 29-year-old quarterbacks coach Josh McDaniels to offensive coordinator Friday, making him the youngest coordinator in the NFL.

Our LIST....Other potential candidates to replace Linehan include offensive coordinators Mike Heimerdinger (New York Jets), Mike Sheppard (New Orleans Saints) and Joe Pendry (Houston Texans) and quarterback coaches Josh McDaniel (New England Patriots), Bill Musgrave (Washington Redskins) and Terry Shea (Kansas City Chiefs).

I read this morning that Saban was thinking about him as a possibility to be the OC. I bet that is why Belichick moved quickly to promote him to OC, he was afraid he might come to the Fins. Just like last year with Pees, I think he fears Saban.

McDaniels was their best option and he pretty much had that role anyway, so no big move happened.
