Peter King's Monday Morning Quarterback

Coach of the Week

Buffalo coach Dick Jauron. How can a coach have a team more ready to play than Jauron, particularly against a consistent division winner like Seattle? The Bills held the Seahawks to three of 16 third-down conversions, a measly 3.8 yards per play, and recorded five sacks with only one penalty and no turnovers. Pretty impressive, playing in midseason form in the first game of the season -- and on a wet field.

That game was complete dominance.

Roscoe Parrish is just fun to watch.

At one point, the Hawks kicked away from him and I told my dad that it is just a matter of time........the next punt, he was GONE.

The BILLS just may be back.....and I for one, wish we could play against Tom Brady this year.......

Yeah all the Bills have to do is play at home against most injured team in the league every week and they should be good.

Ah...there it is, I was waiting for your excuse for the Bills blowing out a team that makes the playoffs basically every year. What was your excuse for Seattles defense and special teams not being able to do anything? God for bid you give credit where credit is due.

What are you going to say if we win next week? "Oh, well Buffalo only won because Jacksonville didn't have their 2 starting guards." I can hear it already.

Whats your blabbing excuse for the Dolphins starting off in the cellar already, where they'll be all season? I'm sure you have a good one.

I think that's a tough game for Buffalo. Though it's hard not to be impressed by what the Bills did vs a team that does go to the playoffs every year. The fake FG call put the game away. It was I believe 20-10 or so and I thought 23-10 it's still a game.

The Bills dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball which was impressive. Favre is going to be slurped because everything in NY is but the Bills were far more impressive than the Jets.

Though i'd say the most impressive coaching job was done by Mike Smith in Atlanta or Lovie Smith in Chicago.

The Bills have a real chance to win the division. I hate them the least of AFC rivals, mainly because they have suffered with us as long as I have been a fan.

Not anymore then I hate the Pats or Jets. I just know when I see a team that is a good team and one that isn't. Until the Bills step up and beat teams that are legit then I won't give the Bills credit. I wouldn't do the same for anyone else either.

The Seahwaks are not the Cowboys or Chargers and this isn't 07. So how do you know the Seahawks even finish the season 500? You don't, but Oh lets be in awe over the Bills cause they won 1 game.

Like I said, we'll see where they stand at the end of the season.

It wasn't that they just "won" it was how they won.

This is Marinelli's third year too....and that Lions team should have some stability at this point.

Apparently not.

Yeah tough game, who were their WR's and who was running the ball? Yeah, real tough game.

I see you joined in 04. So I am confident you will be around to "eat some crow"

However, I get the feeling you will still have some reasons (excuses) for why the BILLS still suck in your "football genius mind"

And if you want to see a "good team" play....I can send you the tape from yesterdays BILLS games where they thumped the Hawks.

I wouldn't say "awe" but man the Bills looked very good everywhere. Coaching, Special Teams, Offense, Defense and even the 12th man.

Thank the Lord that the fan base in Buffalo isn't like other teams that leave 15,000 empty seats in the stadium.
