Report: Jets Have Not Contacted Patriots, Samuel
Earlier today there were reports that the Jets had inquired about Asante Samuel and were considering a contract offer. Now, however, that does not appear to be the case.
According to Rich Cimini of the New York Daily News, the agency that represents the Patriots cornerback has refuted the original Boston Globe article. They claim the Jets have not contacted them about Samuel to date and that all other reports are false.
