Yeah, the rats made him an offer sheet and we didnt match but we got a 2nd and a 7th for him. I think we robbed them blind. Gonna miss his heart and his attitude though

Actually he was never presented an offer sheet it was a straight up trade. The pats didn't use an offer sheet with a poison pill they somehow thought it was better to not cause "bad feelings" between them and the dolphins. Miami knew Welker was as good as gone so they traded him. Don't worry though since he was traded most dolphin fans have said he isn't any good anyway.
