Fantasy football draft alreadyI have having my fantasy football draft already for the season because I am in the military, and most of the people in my league are going to Saudi or another area in the Mid-East and won't be able to tdo the draft before the season starts. This is a keeper league from last year, and every team gets to keep 3 players of there roster from last year. This is what I have so far.
QB Daunte Culpepper RB Ricky Williams RB Shaun Alexander(Acquired via trade for 1st round Draft pick + a 5th and a 10th, in exchange for S.A. a 11th and a 13th) WR Randy Moss What do you guys think so far?? I will post my whole team tomorrow night after the draft and ask your guys opinion on my final roster. Thanks for reading my OR not readiing not-so-important post!!

It's always nice to have the QB-WR off the same team thing. I just hope that Moss and Culpepper hold up for you!!

After Randy Moss it looks like you may be real thin at WR. McAffery will not be the same player he was before his leg was buzzsawed last season. Robinson also has a very bad back and may be cut after june 1, although he did just restructure. How much he sees the field is a mystery. Lelie is a rookie, and in FF i learned the hard way that Rookie receivers just don't put up the desired #s. If Reggie Wayne has progressed than Ismail is lookin at the #3 WR in Indy, and that will vastly reduce his fantasy value.
If I were you I would be all over the waiver wire looking for a good, reliable WR, just in case. If everything goes perfectly for you, then you are in good shape, but too much needs to happen for your WRs to be good. Just the opinion of a non-professional monday morning QB.

FOR THATHURMANATOR: There are 8 teams in the league.
FOR Dolfan984: Well I'll put it to you this way. If Ed McCaffrey is not the same, then guess who steps in.......Ashlie Lelie. |

Heh if I had the chance I would hope to get Dallas' D. They were #4 last year and they upgraded well enough for that #1 shot.

Chambers.....
if McAffery goes down, Rob Moore, not Lelie will step in. Lelie is no better than #4 on their depth chart right now.

They signed him to be the #3 WR and to step in if McAffery came back slower than expected. Lelie, by ALL accounts, is very RAW. Does that mean he wont produce? Probobly not this year, but a lot of people said the same of Chambers. I just wouldn't want to have to rely on a rookie at the WR position, that is all.
Hey it's your team and you can do what you like with it, you just asked for feedback and I gave you some. take it for what it is worth.

TRUE, BUT we only start 2 WRs a week, so Randy Moss and Ed MacCarffey would be my 2 starters right now, AND A broken Leg is a hell of a lot easier to come back to form, than say a Torn ACL. You may be right, BUT I got Marcus Robinson, and Qadry Ismail at the last couple of rounds.

If I were you, chambers, I would drop Staley and see if Buckhalter is around. The word is that Buckhalter will play more than Staley this year so I would check that out. Don't count Staley on getting many touches.
