Fantasy Freaks!! How Did I Do???....

I play in a 16 team league, and was selecting 7th overall. Please remember that while playing in a league this large, being able to stock your roster with quality depth / reserve players, is much more difficult than it would normally be. It's a true challenge...

Starting line-up = QB / 2 RB's / 3 WR's / K / D
--------------------------------------------

1. WR T. Owens - DAL
2. WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh - CIN
3. RB W. Parker - PIT
4. WR D. Driver - GB
5. RB D. Williams - CAR
6. QB J. Cutler - DEN
7. WR D. Mason - BAL
8. RB K. Watson - CIN
9. QB C. Pennington - MIA
10. Defense - NYG
11. K J. Scobee - JAC
12. Defense - DEN
13. K M. Nugent - NYJ
**Wildcard selection** - WR D. Patten - NO
--------------------------------------------

All comments / opinions are welcome and appreciated. Thanks, and the best of luck to all you guys this year!!!....

3 WR's in the first 4 rounds? That is horrible drafting strategy. IMO you don't take a receiver until the 4th at the earliest.

Not in his league you wouldn't! His league starts 2 RB's and 3 Wr's. Nice pics w/ TO and Housh. I'm not real big on Driver or Mason this year though. Driver's gettin slowww.. QB's are kinda weak too. I've never played in a 16 team league before. That's awful tough to pick a solid team. Good luck w/ Parker. Mendenhall looks pretty good so I see him sharing the ball a bit. Hope you win!

Still I put the first 3 rds on RB's and a QB. 16 team leagues are dumb IMO.

Looks pretty good to me except the RB's might be a little questionable. I totally understand how tough it can be though in a 16 team draft.

Even trickier when drafting with that many teams is the waiver wire. Slim pickins. I was in a 20 team draft one year and it was a nightmare.

Pretty solid overall.

Good luck

yellow makes a good point. Last year butt-loads of good RBs went down with injuries. In a 16 team league, it'll be hard to replace those of the wire if your RBs go down. Better to be strong and deep at RB, I think.

But, assuming minimal impact due to above, I have to say you did well in getting Parker and Williams even after burning some good picks on quality WRs

Where are the TEs?

There are TE's used in my league...

My decision to take two stud WR's with my first two picks was a no brainer at the time. There was hardly a RB left on the board that wasn't in a two back system, and I had a good feeling there was a chance W. Parker could continue to fall {coming back around} considering he's coming off of an injury late last year...

I think the gamble of going WR / WR / RB paid off rather well. Those are some solid points no matter how you slice it....

They're not dumb, just more difficult / challenging than most traditional leagues....
