Nice article, although the guy writing it looked kind of nerdy.

I think the potential is definitely there for a good year. I think we can be this year's New Orleans' Saints. All we need to do is score a little more....we have the defense to keep us in any game, and Joey will fire up our D even more. We have to be better than the 6-10 we were last year with no QB. I think 9 wins or more is realistic.

Hakim as the WR3??? He might not even make the team..I believe Hagan will give marty a run for the number 2 and then the loser will be 3

What did Hagan do to draw your conclusion ? I think people state what they want to see happen rather than what the reality of the situation is.

Hagan 21 catches 221 yards 10.5 average 1 td (dropped his share too)

Booker 55 catches 747 yards 13.6 average 6 tds

Hagan is altleast 1 year away if ever from the #2 receiver !

A couple quibbles...

1) Hakim will be lucky to make the team, nevertheless be the #3 WR. Hagen will likely be the #3 pushing for #2.

2) Look out for Booker to seriously eat into Brown's carries, which is never good for fantasy production, although it should be a great thunder and lightning duo for the Phins.

3) The Miami D is likely to be better in real life than in fantasy production because the secondary is not making INTs. The Miami D may be top 3 in scoring defense this year, but it is probably around #10 in FFL point production.

4) The author talks about meaningful December games if Miami is in the playoff hunt. That is true, but they are also playing some damn good defenses during the FFL playoffs including NE at home in the winter and the Ravens. I would be very leery of depending on Miami offensive players if your team makes the FFL playoffs. However, you could make some points in the beginning of the year and then trade the Phins before the hell stretch at the end of the year.

Hagan was a rookie last year with a very bad OC and a bad QB. So far at camp, Hagan has been the star. If this translates into pads, Hagan will push Booker.

The only thing i didnt agree with was that they had Az-Zahir Hakim over Ted Ginn for the number 3 WR spot.

They also0 said McMike was one of the most underrated TE's too. Wish I saw that McMike last year, not the guy who dropped all those balls.
