I would consider Ricky over Johnson week 1 because of matchups and because of how bad KC sucks ***.
I'm actually going out on a limb and starting DeSean Jackson this week just because of the matchup and the fact that I get return yardage and st scores included. I don't usually start rookie wr's, but he I think he will be the best wr of the rookies this year. I'm also not sold on Javon Walker. Btw, Smith is suspended for 2 games. How much do you like Jason Cambell? He just stunk it up tonight in what looks to be rookie head coach Zorn's (doing his best Cam cameron impersonation) badly executed offense. It needs to be executed, badly. There's probably a waiver-wire qb better than him out there. Trent Edwards, Chad Pennington, Warner's left in a few, Jeff Garcia, etc...

i was thinking about starting desean as well. but i think i might go with Berrian in Minny instead....
very tempted to start Ricky. KC is garbage so... I think i'm real weak in the WR dept. i just put larry johnson up on the trading block. i need a big time receiver. |

you have a good team, I think. I see a lot of trade potential for you mainly because your deep at RB and many owners would trade quality player for Larry Johnson (i don't like him).
For starters i would suggest you start Rickey instead of LJ. Rickey might lose carries to Ronnie but he's a game breaker and can score big with just one carry. LJ is a stiff and will do nothing vs Pats. Sit Walker and start Desaun Jackson as your no. 3 WR this week. Jackson is up against Rams and he is set to get alot of action. Curtis is out and R Brown is missed Thurs practice due to bad Hammy and is questionable for Sunday. The Eagles are favored by 9pts. Walker, if he starts/plays is up against two of the best cover guys (Baily and Bly) in the league. If you sit Walker and don't like Jackson then, I say start Ginn as WR 3. |

T.O. maybe, depends on what that owner has at RB and how deep he is at WR.
My thought is to try to get two players. An RB so you can maintain your depth at RB and a WR. Shoot for players that are solid 2s or on the cusp of being solid 2 but percieved to be 3s. Maybe Crayton and R. Bush, R. White and Maroney, Stallworth Maroney. If you find someone who loves LJ it might easier to get maybe E. Graham and a good WR. If someone is willing to give you Welker, you might could forgo the strong RB depth since Welker gets so many touches and can help supplement RB scoring while giving you WR potential. Later, if D Jackson becomes, as I suspect, another Welker, you could trade either Welker or Jackson for better RB or WR. Whatever you do, try your best to keep talented depth at RB. RBs are the most likely to go down and very valuable FF scorers. |

team revisited 3 week inso here i am with a struggling carson palmer & a very non productive larry johnson.
some surprises (if you will) chambers looking good in San Diego, DeSean Jackson also looking very nice in Philly. Dallas Clark clearly not hisself. pciked up Rosario from Carolina as a backup lineup going into Week 3. Sit Carson, Start Jason Campbell? Sit Larry Johnson, start Felix Jones or even Ricky? Sit Dallas Clark, start Rosario ? also, WR wise. pick 3 to start Steve Smith, Calvin Johnson, Chambers, DeSean Jackson |
