My First Fantasy Football Team has been drafted!

The league is a standard Yahoo public league, meaning 10 teams and a 15 man roster. 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DEF. It's more of a TD league since ALL TDs are worth 6 points, and you only got 1 point per 20 rushing/receiving yards and 1 point per 50 passing yards. Here was how it went down.

Yahoo Public 13623 Draft (Socialist Comrades)

Round 1, Pick 4: Shuan Alexander
Round 2, Pick 17: Corey Dillon
Round 3, Pick 24: Torry Holt
Round 4, Pick 37: Tim Brown
Round 5, Pick 44: Steve McNair
Round 6, Pick 57: Marcus Pollard
Round 7, Pick 64: Mike Vanderjagt
Round 8, Pick 77: Miami Defense
Round 9, Pick 84: Trent Green
Round 10, Pick 97: Travis Henry
Round 11, Pick 104: Marty Booker
Round 12, Pick 117: Ed McCaffrey
Round 13, Pick 124: Kevin Dyson
Round 14, Pick 137: Jake Plummer
Round 15, Pick 144: Ken Dilger

Lineup:

QB: Steve McNair
WR: Torry Holt
WR: Tim Brown
WR: Ed McCaffrey
RB: Shaun Alexander
RB: Corey Dillon
TE: Marcus Pollard
K: Mike Vanderjagt
DEF: Miami
Bench: Marty Booker, Trent Green, Travis Henry, Kevin Dyson, Jake Plummer, Ken Dilger

As you can see I had some idiots in the draft, as I got some solid WRs late. I also got two top tier RBs starting for me as well. The only question mark is at QB and backup RB, but McNair is still a top 10 QB and Henry is a fine backup. BTW some idiot dropped Jay Fiedler and Chris Chambers onto the wavier wire. I'm going to try to dump Pummer for Fiedler and Dyson for Chambers. I hope I can pull that off.

Any comments or suggestions?

You weren't kidding when you said you had some idiots in the draft! You have to 2 great RBs. As you said, your backup RB situation is very mirky. I think Trent Green is a fine backup QB. I see him improving immensely this year, and may even end up putting up better numbers than McNair.

Just got Chambers and Green

Last week I managed to snag Chris Chambers and William Green off waivers! Let's take a look at the lineup now.

Starters:
QB: Steve McNair
WR: Torry Holt
WR: Tim Brown
WR: Chris Chambers
RB: Shaun Alexander
RB: Corey Dillon
TE: Marcus Pollard
K: Mike Vanderjagt
DEF: Miami

Bench:
QB: Trent Green
WR: Marty Booker
WR: Ed McCaffrey
RB: William Green
RB: Travis Henry
TE: Ken Dilger

As you can see I have solid backups working at every position except TE, K, and DEF. Yes, Trent Green is a solid backup, believe it or not. William Green is at least a #2 RB this year, thus making him a money backup. I'm stacked at WR, obviously. I'm probably going to use the spot Ken Dilger has to sub in and out TE/K/DEF based on bye weeks. Once the bye weeks are over I can fill that roster spot with someone solid at any of those positions for backup purposes.

your backup RB will put up 1200 yards... that's pretty solid for a backup IMHO... Plummer is in a contract year; keep him (plus they have to pass a LOT)
