My team what do u think?

This is a $125 league with my buddies(12 team) and its obviously very competitive. All offensive td's are 6 pts, quarter point per reception. Our league format is 1 qb 2 rb's 2 wr's 1 TE and a WR/RB flex, plus a kicker and D.

Qb- Cutler/Schaub

Rb- Westbrook/McGahee/C.Taylor

WR- Boldin/Housmandzadah/Bowe(flex)/sid rice/j.porter

Te- Winslow/scheffler

K- J. Brown

D- Chargers/Titans

bolded are the starters, i have a choice to start taylor or another reciever but i really like bowe this year if he can get any decent play out of his qb. I like my starting rb's but lack depth there and am in trouble if any miss time plus not having a rb in the wr/rb flex spot kinda sucks but i think out of my reciecers i can get consistent good play from them. My qb's are hit or miss but i think cutler can have a real nice year throwing to marshall and schaub with johnson so ill take my chances with them, i had taken pennington with my last pick but dropped him and picked up the titans d, but will need another qb as both my qb's have bye week 8 so i may pick him back up.

So you drafted 3rd and picked up Westbrook followed by Mcgahee in the 2nd, Housh in the 3rd, Boldin in the 4th, Winslow in the 5th, Cutler in the 6th, Bowe in the 7th, Charger in 8 and so on?

Not bad. I'd like to see the lineup of the guys who you consider to be the 2 best other drafters to see how you matchup, but you look like you are definitely in contention.

Yeah I agree, good draft. I'm not big on Mcgahee though. I don't think he'll hold up. Also, I know kickers aren't huge points guys but I'd be skeptical w/ Brown. Seattle let him go for a reason. Since missed field goals cost you points I'd look elsewhere. If Carpenter is available, which he is in a lot of leagues, I'd snatch him. I have a feeling he will score a lot of points this year w/ stalled drives. He's got a huge leg and has proven in the preseason he's pretty accurate. Good luck!

kickers are actually even less point guys in my league we have every fg 2 pts every fg over 50 yds 3 pts, plus extra pt. 1, so compared to most other leagues its even less, you really just need a kicker on a pretty solid offense who will have opportunities, plus im not 100% sure but i dont think missed fgs are negative in our format(our commish really wanted kicking toned down so you dont win or lose by your kicker).

Also im not the hugest mcgahee fan either i was really hoping braylon edwards or fitzgerald would be there or really any top 5 reciever with the 2nd pick but they were all gone so i went a different way with my draft. Plus cam seems to always have his rb's getting big #'s so as long as he is healthy(huge question mark) i feel like he will have a pretty decent year.

This is the guy who i consider probably the best team in our league, atleast before any games have been played.

Qb- hasslebeck/rodgers

Rb- Addai/l.johnson/j.stewart/j.lewis/a.hall(he could start another rb as a flex)

Wr- Holmes/calvin johnson/reg.williams/j.gage/j.walker(could start another wr as a flex instead of a rb)

K- Graham

D- Colts

He's pretty solid all around and although may not have crazy scorers at ever position hes pretty solid all around plus he has good depth at rb.

I really dont know who else you would consider as another good team alot of the other teams are realy solid too... i really consider my team as a top 3 team though, i could be bias though.

You've got a good chance if he is your best competitor.
Hasslebeck has no one to throw to.
Larry Johnson is on a horrible team, but his other rb's look good (except andre hall- I don't know why people are so set on getting backups they'll never use, it's a waste of a pick)
His wr's are not that good. Holmes will be decent this year and Johnson is expected to put up big numbers on a poor team that is trying to run the ball more. Gage is a waste of time and walker will be on crutches by week 7.
The colts d is good for picks and sacks, but gives up a lot of yardage and points, so they're so-so.
