its 12 man head to head league no ppr....16 plys 1 qb 2 hb 3 wr 1 te 1 def 1 kicker 7 bench

i have Larry johnson brandon jacobs rashard mendenhall and J stewart...my WRS are R wyane and P buress and dwayne bowe...my question is should i trade LJ for a top WR like colston fitz or holt?

No...not unless you have some other deal in mind to get a second RB. Jacobs is fine but if you trade LJ you are stuck with Medenhall who has been coughing the ball up and will be playing behind Parker all season at this rate and Stewart who is splitting carries as well. Wayne is as good of WR as the guys you mentioned and Plaxico and Bowe are both #1's on their teams, the little you would gain in WR you would more then lose at RB.
