Should I...I am in a fantasy football league for the first time this year. One of my friends drafted Ginn. I have Reggie Wayne, Brandon Marshall, Ronald Curry, and White from Atlanta. I want to trade for Ginn. He either wants White or Marshall. I feel like Teddy is going have a great season. But should I make the trade. I know Marshall maybe facing a suspension and White will have Ryan throwing to him but they both had pretty decent seasons last year so I'm torn. Thanks in advance for your input!

You would get Ginn's ST points, too, right? No brainer. Marshall's in deep doo-doo and even if Ryan is good, the Falcons have more problems than they know what to do with. Ginn will have a good season. |

ONLY trade them for Ginn if you're getting another player as well. Don't trade Marshall because he is a stud. Trade White but make sure you get something else since he has a higher fantasy profile than Ginn.

trade white. Marshal may only miss 1 game and will be a fantasy stud when he comes back. I also have marshal and was already offered a trade for him which I declined.
I recently picked up Ginn off the FA list. If you get points for returns Ginn will also be a fantasy stud

I never pick up any miami players in my fantasy team. I get too emotionally attatched and will probably start them over some better player...i only picked miami's defense when they were on top.

I would trade White for Ginn if available. Same with Curry. The thing with ginn is that it is a risk but if they come our throwing I think Ginn could get you 60-70 receptions with 6-8 TD's.
Some leagues give Punt/Kick return points and if thats case I would do it for sure.

DON'T do that trade i have Roddy white and hes going to put up huge numbers and Ted Ginn needs to establish himself hes taking full advantage of you because you are a fin fan. I know you love the dolphins but there players are going to help you win fantasy stick with Roddy and Marshall is a top 10 fantasy wide out

According to my draft software, based on Yahoo Public league here is a breakdown of their tier ranking and points. Keep in mind this is a standard 1 point per 10 yds.
Tedd Gin - Points value - 107, he is listed as a tier 8 receiver. There are 10 tiers. So he is at the bottom. As a comparison Randy Moss is rated as a value of 260 and tier 1. Brandon Marshall - Points value 166 - He is listed as a tier 2 WR Roddy White - Points value 148 - Listed as Tier 2 WR. My advice, I would only pull the trigger and trade one if your guys only you get points for KR yards. Ginn is a good value if KR is counted. Otherwise see if you can work another trade. Do not base your trades or picks on favortism for your team. If you need any other hlp let me know.

Just about every time I have drafted a Fin, it has turned out badly. I had Marino when I first got into FF, and he just wasn't a great FF QB then - at the end of his career. I've had others as backups, and I had RB last year, who was great - til he tore his ACL.
I usually try to stay away from Fins unless they are a clear-cut, top notch guy - ie, Williams in his heyday. Truthfully, there are so many questions about this team right now that nobody is worth having unless they are very late round picks or backups. Except maybe Williams, but even he will eventually be splitting snaps w/ RB. Hey, you're not in my league, are you? If you are, everything I just said was a lie. Or was it? ![]() |

I would definitely NOT trade Marshall.
How are your bye weeks covered? Does one help/hurt you more? If anything I'd trade White, but even then I'd be weary. If none of the other WR's step up.... Ginn my have a tough time getting open.... then again, White is going to have a rookie QB throwing to him, so it's up to you. Definitely keep Marshall though. IMHO
