Does it make anyone else's blood boil? (Marlins)

I had to move from Florida to Chicago last month--I know sucks...

I'm watching the Cubs/Marlins game today and I had to turn it off, disgusted! Not because we blew are 2 run lead... that's upsetting, but what is INCREDIBLY upsetting, makes my blood boil, drives me crazy, is that I hear more cheering from the stands when the Cubs score than when the Marlins do...

I really hope (and I think it will) that when the new stadium is built that we can finally give our players a real home-field...

Will their new stadium be packed with the 18 people that will go to the game?

I find it especially troubling that it sounds like they are going to have another fire sale. How many can one team have?

I do think that we'll have much better attendance... most Marlins fans live in Miami/South Dade... It's one thing to drive a over an hour (game day traffic) for a Football game that happens 8 times a year, its quite another to drive an hour to on of the 90 or so for baseball games.

I think when the BALL PARK is in the Orange Bowl site it'll be less than 30 minutes from 90% of Marlin's fans in the state...with a HUGE concentration a quick walk away.

Those old cuban guys in Little Havana will take a walk and pay $12 to see a game, they won't pay $12 and drive 45 minutes...

I read somewhere that again the Marlins plan to sell off some of their big named talent rather than spend the money. That speaks volumes about the ownership to me, honestly if i were a Marlins fan i wouldn't show up.
