if he can keep it up from what we have seen so far in spring training...i wouldnt mind that...he may not be the "sexy" choice...but he has thrown very well...plus now he can see!

I listen to some of the radio broadcasts on my way to work. I can't help but think... are the Marlins radio announcers from an alternate universe where Rachel Phelps' plan succeeded? They sound JUST like the broadcasting pair from the Major League movies.

Yeah, but I just mean the sounds of their voices. I imagine the Major League crew calling Marlins games. It just seems right.

being that i live in massachusetts...the xm radio is virtually the only choice i got...plus i cant exactly get internet service in my car...which throws mlb.tv out the window for me

i believe he is no-throw status until late may or so...and then will probably get some innings in the minors until the marlins feel he is ready to come back and help the big team

Generally, radio announcers are better than TV announcers, at least with the NFL they are. If I could get the video and audio to sync up, I'd like to watch games on mute with the radio on.

i find that to be generally true in baseball as well...as there is so much to going on(especially in a national league game) that you have to be descriptive and interesting...way more so than some jerk on tv
