You are mildly retarded. Did you see the game? Chad Henne's throws gave me a boner. I haven't seen anything like it in Miami for so long. They rules that bomb to Ginn as incomplete because of the bobble, which I thought was bs, but it was beautiful nonethless.

Beck makes me wanna cry or kill myself. You can just watch the two in the huddle. Beck is like a scared puppy. He doesn't have the look of a leader. He doesn't have the presence of a winner. I wanted him to be the next great but he just isn't. So let it go.

Look I loved the Beck pick, I really want him to succeed, but reality is that he has been not very impressive. Meanwhile Henne is doing quite well, nowhere am I stating Henne is god or anything like that. I'm just stating the obvious (atleast for most).

Stop being so bitter, I don't see the point. Did you even watch the game? Hell, I remember a game where Brady beat a defense by only throwing checkdowns to Welker.
You Beck haters a really a thin skinned lot. Touchy, touchy

It doesn't matter how you do it. Plus keeping Beck worst case senario he sucks and we get nothing out of him and still a have Henne. best case senario he becomes a good QB. If you get rid of him its automatically we get nothing worth while after him at this point Beck is low risk high reward so we should keep him and Henne because if one goes down we have a back up plan and if we end up with 2 good QBs isn't that a very good problem? Plus if we cut McClown and Pennington goes down we get to see what Beck can do over a journy man and provided we win at least 1 game next year whats the problem with the first pick especially if they add that rookie salairy cap they have been talking about.
What does deffenatilly mean?

Exactly.. Anyone who thinks Beck is a better QB than Henne is either totally delusional or completely blind.. Most likely both.

anybody who watched the throw to Ryan would have been very impressed

he looked to the right flat, saw that that his best option was covered, made a beautiful throw downfield and watched Ryan treat his throw like it was a grenade.

Never mind the fact that taking the underneath stuff and converting first downs is better than going &^$% it i'm going deap and throwing into coverage. It's not like every 10 yards you get a fresh set of downs or something and any three plays that average over 3.3 yards will get you there or something. God scrubs like that make me sick.
Being a big ohio state fan. i have been having a heck of a time warming up to chad henne. No matter how well he has looked its still tuff. I must also state that I am a big john beck fan and feel he was not dealt a fair hand in this competition. However with all that said i must admit that chad henne is the future because he is the better qb. He has the arm, the physical attributes and finally the b*lls to handle this. in a qb competition you know from the get go if a guy has "it" or not right away. If you have to wait for a qb to grow into the "it" chances are working against you. I must admit from the first preseason game chad has had "it". The same way i knew Dan had it from the beginning. you don't know how much this hurts but Chad Henne is the man. uuugggghhh....

Griese threw for 88 yards in SuperBowl VII. It is about wins not how far you throw.

Predictably, you didn't pick up the not so subtleness of his post.
He was merely using the same arguments the Beck haters used to conclude that Beck has no future in the NFL and extrapolating them to Henne.
Nowhere in his post did he say that Beck was a better QB than Henne.
The post was meant to point out how ridiculous and ironic some of the criticisms against Beck have been.

I'm really exited how Henne has looked in the preseason, even though he has only played less then a quarter against a 1st team D, he has looked really good for a rookie. Like he's been in the league for a while. He has a strong arm and made some really nice passes.
The thing that bothers me is the way he locks on to the receiver...because the closer you get to the goal line doing that gets more dangerous...DB's have less space to cover and it makes it easier to jump the ball. Like on his first series against the Jags on the pass to Bess where it was nearly intercepted because Henne's eyes followed Bess the whole time. Hopefully he'll get more comfortable and stop doing that.
What is really weird is how everyone and the media keeps saying he is our future....I can't see how they can say that for sure with the little we've seen him. I will hope he is our future...but to say he is our future at this point seems really naive. I mean he looks good but so have hundreds of QB's over the years looked good in the preseason.
I can't wait to see more of him this week.
