Well I watched the game. Henne is better than Beck Period end of story . The 44 yard rope to Ginn Jr (forgot the ref he catch it) was well great. I counted 2 bad passes Beck simply does'nt have that it factor. After watching Henne CLOSELY during the Jax game, I am now on board with Henne I think Henne is going to be stud, Beck simply does'nt have the upside (at 26-27 he is about as good as he's going to get which is what he's shown). What I saw from Henne was a powerful passer, all that CRAP about a slow release is well- stupid - I see a nice bang when he makes his mind up to throw it. That crap about not being to throw on the run is well crap - he looked good it me. I'd to see TD's however FG's and NO PUNTs or SACKs is decent right now. Beck just looks like a deer froozen in front of headlights - oh well long live da Phinz and just win games period

Anyone who watched the game could see him look downfield composed and make hard and accurate throws. He has very good pocket presence to slide and step into his throws which Beck simply does not have yet. The fact that Henne is ahead of Beck and is 4 years younger makes the decision to get rid of Beck an easy one.

The thing that bothers me is the way he locks on to the receiver...because the closer you get to the goal line doing that gets more dangerous...DB's have less space to cover and it makes it easier to jump the ball. Like on his first series against the Jags on the pass to Bess where it was nearly intercepted because Henne's eyes followed Bess the whole time. Hopefully he'll get more comfortable and stop doing that.
What is really weird is how everyone and the media keeps saying he is our future....I can't see how they can say that for sure with the little we've seen him. I will hope he is our future...but to say he is our future at this point seems really naive. I mean he looks good but so have hundreds of QB's over the years looked good in the preseason.
I can't wait to see more of him this week.
The deal is that there is really nothing in front of him or behind him to dismiss the media's opinion... We'll see how he handles the pressure..., he looks good for his maturity looks above his age...

Pennington still young but an injury away...

I don't think any of us wants to "dismiss" there claim rev kev....I think most of us have hope that there claim becomes a fact in the future.
