"Dead Money"

With all the cuts/trades made lately, does anybody know how much "dead money" that is counting against the cap this year?

No, it's money already paid to players that must still be accounted for on the cap.

i think its after the end of the yr or if you have it over 2 yrs or so could also be. most teams ussually use it all in one season so they are done with it sooner.

so next year we wil hav 13 million added to ourcap space that we already have free then right once they all come of the books
