I'm just glad it wasn't Chris Long.YES!!!!!!!!
It would have killed me because I think he is definitely the most over-hyped player of this draft. Honestly I see him as this years Brady Quinn. Because if BP wasn't convinced he was good enough and he's close to Groh, Longs old coach, what does that really say about him. He'll slide, how far, I guess late teens.

I was really really wanting us to take Jake Long, and am soooo glad it's getting done, but I won't say Chris Long would have been a bad pick. I thnk he will be a very solid NFL player.
So relieved to have jake on the team though. |

Just wait till the Pats or Jets draft him and he's beating the snot out of our QB for the next 10 years. We will all be very happy. Go Fins what a joke this team turned into.

I think it was kind of nutz that 2 OLB's in this system were being considered #1 . . . maybe if we ran a 4-3 . . . and used them as DE's . . . but even still . . . I would have had Dorsey over both of them.
My BPA board was something like this: 1. Glen Dorsey 2. Jake Long 3. Darren McFadden 4. Chris Long 5. Vernon Gholston Considering I don't like Dorsey as a 3-4 DE or NT . . . . and the HUGE hole at LT on this team . . . Jake Long was the CLEAR #1 choice for us. . . I mean it was not even close, and I completely agree w/ Ireland when he said he was the only guy WE were talking too. |

He isnt getting past Okaland, NY jets or the Pats there is no way he will fall to the late teens and if he does we need to trade up and get him

What if we traded Jason Taylor and our 2 #2's to the Raiders and draft Gholston, Long or Dorsey, anyone of the 3 would help this defense out a long time! We could have a pillar on both sides of the field!

vs. Jason Taylor, Quentin Groves and Antoine Cason . . . . I'm sorry, I completely disagree . . . not for a young team like this . . . and who wants those 2 big contracts. Hell u can have Groves and Cason potentially and still get a guy like Lofton . . . . if u trade JT. |

I was just asking a question, I'm a big fan of Dorsey and C. Long, I would'nt mind having two perennial pro bowlers on both sides of the line, our staff is known for drafting great on day two anyway
