MERGEDX2: Is there going to be a supplemental draft this year?

I have read nothing regarding any players who would be available other than a OT from Mississippi State. Anyone know?

I typically hear about some guys available in a supplemental draft by now. I know the OT from Mississippi State was pursuing entry. Heard nothing, you guys?

I've been looking too but can't find anything yet. I may still be a little early yet, though. I think that some schools have just finished exams, so you may have some come out due to academic ineligibility.

Haven't heard anything yet, but unless there is somebody who is really impressive in one of our need positions, it's not worth giving up the pick. Especially with the talent coming out of next year's draft.

I was actually thinking more free agent signings from the guys available. The fact we really haven't heard any names indicates there probably are not any draftable guys other than the big tackle from Mississippi State, Brown.

No there is not according to PFT it has been cancelled.

Well, not really.
But for those of you who look forward to the bizarre silent-auction-style process that allows NFL teams to use one or more of their picks from next year’s draft early, there won’t be a supplemental draft this year.
49ers G.M. Scot McCloughan told NFLDraftScout.com that the plug had been pulled, due to a lack of applicants.
As in, well, none.
Last year, there were ten eligible players. Two were drafted, including tackle Jared Gaither, who is in line to take over for Jonathan Ogden in Baltimore.
