For those fed up with Ad and Popups and want to protect against attacks.

I have been posting in topics dedicated to the problems with the site right now, but I figured it would have a wider reach if I made a topic.

If you want to remove all ads on the site, all popups and eliminate the chances of receiving malware and attacks through those ads all you have to do is this.

Go to www.mozilla.org and download firefox 3. Once you have FF3 installed on the same website there are addons for the browser. The one you want to block all ads is adblock Plus.

This will make the forum like it used to be.

You're welcome. If I didn't find the Adblock Plus I probably would have stopped coming to this site because of the ads.

Yeah, I'm sorry... I know the site has to pay the bills, but this is ridiculous... I can't even get logged on without my browser freezing up... And I would have thought a dedicated dolphins fan website would have more class than to allow popups and links to a website named trashypretty...

Seriously.

MORE CLASS???? haha! Sorry but I don't agree a tech issue such as this speaks to class on a site. If some of the posters that agree this is a dedicated dolphin fan website, to use your words, then why not support it. I don't have a vip membership yet but I am not complaining about popups either.
Put a few bucks where your font is and you won't have to worry about pesky pop ups.

Finfatale is right on the money. It is amazing to me that fans think that a site that gets 10,000 visitors a day can exist on fan spirit. That the multitude of servers etc to run the place can be pe paid with "class". The solution for this is that of those 10,000 visitors a day if even 20% paid then this would be a non-issue. It is not free entertainment...it costs.

someone told me to download adaware so i did, so far it works, before it i couldnt come to the site without being eaten by pacman, i had to close my browser every time just to escape, i guess this adaware is working though
