Just wanted to know if there has ever been a team that has played in the superbowl at their home field???
for a few reasons. 1) People have to respect his ability to run/scramble. He can make plays with his feet unlike Feeley, and Gus. 2) Teams will respect the pass more with Culpepper back there. Meaning they wont beable to blitz as much. Plus he can scramble away from the blitz which gives...
We all have our own ideas, but name the last year we have been this active in the draft. Was just wondering, been a very long time.
I was in a Pats espn form and came across this is the any truth to it Patriots | Team close to signing L. Arrington? Thu, 23 Mar 2006 06:27:05 -0800 Tom E. Curran, of the Providence Journal, reports sources said the New England Patriots may be close to signing free agent LB LaVar Arrington...
Interesting stats, part two: individual offense stats. Ricky and Ronnie were tied for 8th in the NFL in running back YPC at 4.4. That put them ahead of such guys as Edgerrin James, LaDainian Tomlinson and Clinton Portis. Marty Booker was 8th in the NFL in first down’s per...
I was poking around at STATS INC. and found some interesting (to me) statistics for us last year. They aren’t all surprising, though some surprised me a little, but I’m mostly showing the ones I found interesting or the ones where we were extremely good or bad: 1. Miami was...
Id say definately Cullpepper Brown Barnes Chambers Booker Mcmichael SHelton James Mckinney
I haven't seen this asked here yet. We went into the season with Heath Evans, and we all know how that's worked out. Now we have Morris/Barnes. Morris is a good backup RB, but FB? On the open market, Fred Beasley, is available next season? Any ideas?
So yea what about mare 2nd string?? if he wants so much money make him do 2 things. no really just posting to say i am looking foward to this season. i know alot of these threads out there but i would like to say that mare is one of my favorite kickers. and that im now 15 and ive bene a fin fan...
the one he jumps over mcgreer i saw one here that looks real clear and it looks close
If we didn't get Arrington then who could we sign?:shakeno:
Ronnie Brown will have about 1,450 yard this season. That was a good pick up.But we should have signed him for 3 years. Also I do not think we will be getting lavar arrington.
Dolphins | Beasley signed Thu, 23 Mar 2006 15:05:19 -0800 <A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/17">Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the Miami Dolphins have signed free agent FB Fred Beasley (49ers) to a one-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. www.kffl.com
http://www.bolt.com/greg1184/video/422067 I happened to have this clip saved on my computer. This was a few years back. This is the arm we are looking forward to guys. I cant wait! :dolphins: Also note the cornerback who Moss burned.... Jamar Fletcher:tantrum: Enjoy!!! :dolphins:
I can't believe you guys aren't discussing this, since it was a part of his interview and you guys have posted the interview....but that stood as big to me, if he can run, at QB he doesn't need to do much except get to the hand off positions, drop back, and escape sometimes...this is excellent...
We all know Fred Beasley, an ALL PRO FB was signed today. Here's my question though. Why only a 1 year deal for someone that still has atleast 3-5 good years left. I think we might be high on Kyle Eckel, and after this year he can request to be released early from his commitment to the U.S....
I sure didnt see this one coming......Not much talk about our FB position. Fred Beasley is a veteran FB playing for a bad team. A solid blocker opening holes for Brown can only be a good thing. Look at what it did for Tomlinson and Alexander (Neal and Strong) Here are some stats on Beasley for...
Not sure if you guys already saw these, but here are two good videos of Culpepper. I think we definitely made the right QB choice!.... Best if used with Internet Explorer or AOL. http://us.video.aol.com/video.index.adp?clipContext=66.326.1149.16258&mode=1 ...
This is the 2nd thread I posted on this topic, but the last one I posted was at 12am and I don't know how many of you guys saw them. Just thought you would like to take a look, it shows Culpep back in highschool and at UCF, for all the Culpep doubters, watch these and hopefully they will change...
Excerps taken from K.C Joyners' article "TE Learning New Tricks" on ESPN Insider. Before you read this know that KC is a closet Dolphins fan; this article was written without a negative bias... "Prior to this season, Randy McMichael indicated he wanted to be used more as a wide receiver,...
Found some Culpepper Highlights from his amazing 2004 season and decided to share them with my fellow Dolphins Fans. Enjoy!!! link removed
I'm looking for opinions and giving mine!~ I believe we have two great players willing to help this team as needed! ( Both willing to re-deal) But my love is that Saban (so far and he may) hasn't jumped to the leaders of this team to give stuff up yet!! Makes me believe that he knows...
How many of you remember what we were talking about last year at this time of the year? The draft, rebuilding, how long it'd take, 6 win season. Wow what a year makes. Definately alot of excitement around here, and around the phins in general. Now we're talking major FA pickups, and what will...
QB- Daunte Culpepper RB- Ronnie Brown FB- Fred Beasley WR- Chris Chambers WR- Marty Booker TE- Randy Mcmichael O-Line who knows who knows who plays where but i think the 5 will be Vernon Carey L.J. Shelton Rex Hadnot
Dolphins | Chambers thinking Super Bowl Thu, 23 Mar 2006 16:37:27 -0800 Armando Salguero, of the Miami Herald, reports Miami Dolphins WR Chris Chambers is thinking about Super Bowl XLI, which will be played at Dolphins Stadium. Chambers said, "''They play the Super Bowl here next year and I'll be...
Obviously if he came here, it would only be 'til Culpepper was healthy, but does anybody really want this guy? Likely too high of a pricetag, and a guy with a reputation of having a fragile personality... meh.
since he visited us i haven't hear anything about him, are we still interested in signing him? which other teams are interested?
Heard on Sirius Radio that it is between Jacksonville and Miami. Man I hope it is Miami. Sorry if someone already reported this.
be the first kid on your block to shoot craps with the authentic Culpepper dice http://us.st11.yimg.com/store1.yimg.com/I/pokeorder_1889_964062127 these dice completely suppress all desire for scantily clad women they are the perfect alibi for any situation play for $20 a game or...
I didn't see this posted, hopefully it isn't a rerun. From D. Pompei: With Dom Capers running the Dolphins' defense, look for Miami to play more 3-4 fronts. Last season, the team played the 3-4 about 25 percent of the time, and some expect that figure to double this season. Of course,...
anyoen know what our current age roster average is? especially on D after the let goes and signees? shoudl ahve dropped a lot if u ask me
http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/sports/football/14164444.htm Posted on Thu, Mar. 23, 2006 DOLPHINS NOTEBOOK Chambers makes a bold prediction BY ARMANDO SALGUERO
With a few more signings in FA, we have really great chance of having a good line-up. Any thoughts on this line-up. Offense QB-Culpepper, Maddox RB-Brown, Morris (re-sign), Minor FB-Barnes WR-Chambers, Welker WR-Booker, Campbell TE-McMichael, Pelle LT-Shelton, Alabi
Bengals | Arrington does not visit Thu, 23 Mar 2006 14:14:54 -0800 Mark Curnutte, of the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports free agent LB LaVar Arrington (Redskins) did not visit the Cincinnati Bengals Thursday, March 23. Perhaps this means he's getting ready to sign with us!
The papers all report this morning that Manuel Wright was an unexcused no show at last night's awards banquet. He was even introduced and wasn't there. Where was he? As a guy who had trouble at the beginning of last year I would have thought he needed to do it better than everyone else.
Ok
i saw it on bottom line on espn...oh well there goes another key backrub qb to another team
Seahawks | Ashworth agrees to terms Thu, 23 Mar 2006 13:04:48 -0800 Mike Sando, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms with free agent OT Tom Ashworth (Partiots) on a five-year deal. Dolphins | Culpepper testifies in boat party scandal Wed, 22 Mar 2006 11:07:30 -0800 The Associated Press reports Miami Dolphins QB Daunte Culpepper testified Wednesday, March 22, that he spent his entire time shooting dice during a Lake Minnetonka boat party last October and rejected offers...
I don't get many Dolphin games on TV so it's really hard to evaluate OLinemen on NFL.com's game channel. I was just curious as to how good of a center Seth McKinney is? Is it good that we re-signed him? How should Dolphin fans feel about this?
Regardless if we sign Arrington or not, does anyone have a strong opinion about Brandon Short one way or the other? He is still (quietly) available. He started for Carolina last year. He seems to have the measurables that the Dolphins would be looking for, perhaps if only to backup Channing...
Is there any truth to the rumor that the dolphins are speaking or have spoken to Javon Walker about coming to play for Maimi?
Im a senior in high school and today we had a guest speaker who spoke about gangs. Now he said there is gang members in all type of entertainment including the NFL. He went onto say guys who play for Chiefs flash the white diamond and they are involved in a gang. This does not suprise me being...

come on jamie sharper and sam cowart are out their and they are both racked high as middle lbs and the are both great player we need roll players not super stars on are def ,,,plus i bet you can pick both of them up fore what you can get just fore lavar arrington....
Last i heard was this last July: The signs pointed toward retirement for Tim Bowens, after he failed a physical and was released by the Dolphins because of a back injury. Tim Bowens Defensive Tackle Miami Dolphinshttp://espn.go.com/i/nfl/profiles/players/statsid/s2736.jpgProfile 2004...
If Javon Walker becomes available, would he be a good fit in Miami??
Dolphins | Tue, 21 Mar 2006 11:30:02 -0800 Free agent OT Courtney VanBuren (Chargers) recently visited the Miami Dolphins and took a physical. The Dolphins offered VanBuren a one-year contract, but he declined. www.kffl.com
eh if we don't pick up are LB we need, is there a chance Seau could be back?? any thoughts....... if not where is he going?
Where do you guys get the notion you really know anything about any of these players? I see you freely say a guy is a cancer in the locker room or has an attitude problem and you are so free with the judgement. All I ask you to do is put yourself in the situation and consider how accurate...
did he get surgery on it or will it heal by itself...will he be 100% next season?
I heard that jason taylor is gonna be on cold pizza tommorow from the Danica Patrick race(dont know nething about racing but shes hot) yea so just figured i throw this out there so every1 could check him out
anyone else notice how hard the Vikings franchise is trying, to make Daunte look bad? From first stating that he was all about the money, then Childress coming out today stating that he reminded him of to. Sounds to me like some major damage control for a trade that everyone knows they got screwed...

what's happening with david boston? anybody know if he is still injured or 100% recovered from injury? is it possible that he is back with us this season, i don't see any other team that would sign him because of his injuries in the past seasons? i think we would have a good receiving corp, with...

There were talks about Wade Smith playing Center last year before he went on IR. Could it be they might have him at Center this year?
he just signed with the vikings, so now its collins and maddox most likely, which collins will prolly end up with the bengals.
will miami get any Compensatory picks this yr?
Everybody over @ the Miami Herald Dolphins' forum is talking about it.. http://forums.miami.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=kr-dolphins&msg=33054.1&ctx=1 Obviously i won't believe it till i see it on ESPN..

Honestly i thinks the other teams dont have a chance but mybenew england. it seems like were getting better while the others are getting weaker. john abrahm, willie mighnist, david givens, eric moulds(defintly), tim dwight and we didnt lose no one big.:cooldude:
we will go after Ty law because they will want the same amount of money anyway. Then address our need of a LB with the 16th pick in the draft. Maybe even sign back schulters to secure our secondary for now untill the draft. There is alot of things miami can do right now.
Larry Allen was just released from the Cowboys. I would love to pick him up for 2 years. Keep Hadnot at center. That way we could groom a young player, and Allen is just the type of player that our O-Line coach loves.
Already posted in Draft forum but got no help. Question, how do you get tickets for the draft. I live right outside NY in Jersey and would like to repesent our beloved PHISH!
who would you rather have as a back up
Pro Football Weekly is hearing whispers that the Ravens will not trade Ray Lewis for anything less than a first-round pick. Should miami jump for this impact player?
Dolphins | Hadnot likely to return to ORG Thu, 23 Mar 2006 09:39:42 -0800 Alex Marvez, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports the Miami Dolphins signing of C Seth McKinney likely means OL Rex Hadnot will return to his right guard position. Hadnot had started the last three games of the 2005 season at...
Can anyone tell me when the NFL is going to make a decision about Williams? Is this just gonna happen out of the blue or is it already a set date? Also does anyone know if they are leaning towards one decision or the other? All I've heard is it was because of supplements having to do with yoga...
Hey all, here is an article that I saw. Some of the same opinion laden stuff that we have all read about Arrington..........but It is something else to read on a slow newsday while I'm at work, so I thought I would share. http://www.miamisportsdudes.com/page/page/3152036.htm
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11963089/ Dolphins With Culpepper, Saban hopes to enjoy the prospect of a proven quarterback. Only two years ago, Culpepper threw 39 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions for the Vikings. But he is coming off a serious knee injury and may not be 100 percent by...
"I'll be damned if we are not playing in the Superbowl in our home stadium"
I just heard something about Miami on ESPN Radio's 20/20 update, but I missed most of the message. Did anyone just hear it? I'm at work and I cought the last part of it saying something about the Miami Dolphins. Anyone hear it?
Up here in Canada they showed a news clip of Culpepper going into the courthouse for his case. He really looked good, as in trimmed down some weight and was not walking with any noticable limp in the clip. I know its not the same as running but still I thought it was a good sign. He looks like he...
having you people forgotten about this prospect.....he could compete agasint Hodge for that OLB job cuz i remember he had a very good game last year when we beat San Diego.....he stuff LT a good 3 times.....hes got great acceleration, and a good sense of speed.....i think he also has decent vision...
Patriots | Team close to re-signing S. Neal? Thu, 23 Mar 2006 06:30:09 -0800 Tom E. Curran, of the Providence Journal, reports sources said the New England Patriots may be close to re-signing free agent OL Stephen Neal (Patriots). I know we had some interest in him, maybe this is why they...
It was a while ago when there was news that Saban wanted to address the QB situation in Miami and he wanted to make a huge addition on the OL. Well, he already got us our QB, I wouldn't consider L.J. Shelton a huge addition on the OL, do you guys think he might be waiting for the draft to do it? Or...
But Lavar Arrington is meeting with the Bengals tonite.. PFT & Kffl are reporting this..
I don't know if this has been churned enough in light of the SB, but I was trying to remember the worst officiating call or non-call against the Dolphins. For all the bad calls I know we have been subjected to, I can't remember a specific one that i still think about. Let's get it goin'... ...
Was just curious about the defensive end position, are we looking to add or are we good? I know JT is a lock,Holliday was good, is Bowens staying?Any input? We haven't really talked about it or heard anything....
Was wondering if anyone thought that there would be chance that NFL games would be streamed online for a fee. The first 3 rounds of NCAA are free and being used as a test to see how many would log one and was hoping NFL would climb on board and let you pay for your team or all teams and just...
