    The Leaf curse lives on

Well in tonights Holliday Bowl the curse of Leaf proved it had one more chapter to add to the story, With a two QB system due to the inury of their senior starting QB Kellen Clemons, Oregon fell behind 17-7 before a late surge in the fourth quarter helped by Pass interference on a field goal fake on 4th down, Oregon made it a 17-14 game, Oregons defense stood up to stop Oklahoma stand out running back adrian peterson, and an incomplete pass on 3rd and 4 set up a punt with roughly 3:15 showing on the clock. Now you ask what does Ryan Leaf or any leaf have to do with this? The QB who Oregon gave the nod in crunch time was none other than Ryan Leafs younger brother Brady Leaf, Leaf led an amazing drive down the field and oregon was in position to tie the game....untill leaf missed a sure TD by not putting enough air under the ball, it went on a line and was intercepted by Oklahoma's Clint Ingram at the 10 yard line with 33 seconds left.

    Final Score

    Oklahoma 17
    Oregon 14

A bad pass does not equal a curse.
