I have added a couple new things to your user control panel and Profile that makes your experiance here a little more fun.
the frist thing in your User CP is on the top left you should see 2 new options there.
My Posts
My Threads
these will show you all your post and all threads you started. makes looking for that post of yours a little easier

The 2nd thing I added in the User CP is a countdown option. You can see it in my sig right now. To add it you Go into your UserCP -> Edit Options and at the bottom of that screen you will see the option to turn on your counter. The counter is placed in your sig.
the last thing i added to your profile is the Buddy List/ Friends Your Buddylist will now display on your profile, as well as the names of people who have you on there buddy list. If both of you have each on there buddy list, you are then "friends" you can see a demo of this here
