    Cap Tidbit from Clayton

    • Incentive to win: The Dolphins tabulated all the incentive bonuses that kicked in from their nine win season in 2005 and found out they will have a little less than $10 million removed from this year's cap. The Dolphins structured a lot of their incentives to a winning season. Nick Saban got hot at the end of the season and finished at 9-7.

He's talking about the cap adjustment.....er......cap debit of over $9 million. That will also make some NLTBE's in 2006 change into LTBE's

Miami's cap is a bit tighter now

Found out? Shouldn't they already know this? Surely they do projections based on best case and worst case scenario before now right?

Why would an incentive to win qualify as a NLTBE anyway?

Because we went 4-12 in 2004?
