Agent Steve Zucker said one team has already inquired about him as a starter, and three or so others are interested as a backup. The Bengals are considering asking him back at a backup price, but Zucker said, all things being equal, he’d go back to Miami, but we’ll see what unfolds."

He is good enough to start...but I hope he comes here.

I think Webb would be perfect to come here if

A) He comes in as the primary backup at the left tackle and perhaps as a spot starter in case of injuries and

B) If we get a young LT, he can soak up Webb's knowledge like a sponge.

I think it would be foolish not to try and pursue him, especially if he WANTS to come here.

I wouldn't be surprised if that one team was us.

Wait a minute...

If it was us that was that team, then something is going on in South Beach.

Webb re-signing is a cheap option, getting this cap room, Zach contract, Rodgers room making, and Willie Jackson. Mentions of Terry Glenn. These are all cheap options. I think WannSpiel is planning something, maybe a big name player.

It's just my opinion, but doesn't it seem a bit strange? It all depends on if we were the team that offered him the starting job.
