Sounds good, I always liked the guy. I still think he has the ability to be a starter.
Geoff Hobson reports for Bengals.com free agent OT Richmond Webb (Bengals) is already getting play on the free agent market. Agent Steve Zucker said one team has already inquired about him as a starter, and three or so others are interested as a backup. The Bengals are considering asking him back at a backup price, but Zucker said, all things being equal, he’d go back to Miami, but we’ll see what unfolds."

Although the Dolphins won't take the chance. They will get one of the top 3 LT's.
I like Webb he will help out McKinney alot.

Wow teams still want ole Webb for a starter. Thats impressive.
He is good enough to start...but I hope he comes here.
I think Webb would be perfect to come here if
A) He comes in as the primary backup at the left tackle and perhaps as a spot starter in case of injuries and
B) If we get a young LT, he can soak up Webb's knowledge like a sponge.
I think it would be foolish not to try and pursue him, especially if he WANTS to come here.
i'll bet he's sorry he ever went to the bungles!Originally posted by Samphin

I wouldn't be surprised if that one team was us.
I'm real happy to hear that he'd like to return.
Wait a minute...
If it was us that was that team, then something is going on in South Beach.
Webb re-signing is a cheap option, getting this cap room, Zach contract, Rodgers room making, and Willie Jackson. Mentions of Terry Glenn. These are all cheap options. I think WannSpiel is planning something, maybe a big name player.
It's just my opinion, but doesn't it seem a bit strange? It all depends on if we were the team that offered him the starting job.
That all depends on if we are that team.
