I am guessing that the funds received from those estimated 200 members barely covers the costs of the new servers,the cross connection fees,the configuration ,the hosting fees.and the bandwidth fees .

The call for help from members is a necessary step to cover those costs.

IMO Thats a small price to pay for being a part of the best fan site on the web.Any donations will help.

BTW I am not a member of the staff.Just an interested member who appreciates and enjoys the site very much.

Was it worth it? Nope. By the time it came out a week later, I already read everything here. There was really no value in it after I found FinHeaven.

I am a VIP and can tell you it is for one year. It is well worth it. For basically, $3.00 a month you get the benefits and it feels good to help the site out. Now with the gear added in, first look at camp reports, and special events it is going to be awesome! The staff has done an amazing job of making this site great and it is up to everyone to help out.
