FinHeaven & Co Has A New "Task Force", and we want YOU!

Hello members,

IÃ¢â‚¬â„¢m happy to announce that there is a new Ã¢â‚¬Å“taskÃ¢â‚¬Â force opening at FinHeaven & Co. The new group is called Ã¢â‚¬Å“Mentors.Ã¢â‚¬Â The idea of this will be to help everyone out. Basically, you will act as another mediator by helping members out, calling posters out if they break the TOS, and calming down posters if a thread gets out of hand. The main difference between a Mentor and Moderator is the fact that a Mentor cannot delete, or open/close threads. A mentor can, however, move threads if necessary.

So, who should become a mentor? Easy, anyone that wants to make these boards a better place should become a mentor. Furthermore, this is now the first step to become a moderator.

Who shouldnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t be a mentor? If you do not have enough time, like me, then you shouldnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t become a Mentor.

So, how does one become a mentor?

Simply reply to this message, stating that you want to become a mentor. I will get all the names and then put it in a poll. The poll must have a minimum of 20 votes, and you cannot vote for yourself. The members that have the TWO highest votes will be the first two mentors.

So, letÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s get this started. If you would like to be a Mentor, please let me know.

I'm all for it AJ. Maybe this will give me an opportunity to get more comfortable with computers. If you all think I'm able enough to do, I'd be more than happy to do that for you all........

As any moderator will tell you, the task of moderating aren't all that hard... it simply comes down to time.

But definitely, you are able enough to do it
