    Fox Sports reported that the Dolphins currently have an NFL-low $550,452 remaining under the league's $102 million cap.

    Looks like we are gonna have to cut some players loose in the offseason.
    I just hope we STOP re-working contracts, it just pushes the cap-hit
    into later years of the contract and puts us in Salary cap hell....

    PS- Isn't this supposed to go in the Cap forum?:wink:

    Well, Jason Taylor already restructured in 2006........another candidate for a simple restructure would be Marty Booker. He has a salary of $3 million

    alot of our defensive players are getting old so there will be some cuts this offseason. Hoopefully our younger players can develop.

    True. But you know Taylor, for example, is going to retire before his contract expires and I don't think that results in a cap hit.

    Or he could be released, he is getting up there in terms of age, But I think that depends on how deep this WR draft class is.
