I think the real Karim Abdul Jabbar had a lawsuit on him. Something to do with selling the name as well, like on jersey's and stuff. I remember watching highlights on Sportscenter and Chris and Tom Jackson would always say "Karim, if we may call you Karim" runs for a score or whatever whenever talking about him. It was pretty funny.
