To some of the disgruntled DolPhans out there---Dan Marino is not coming back. It will be a while to see another QB like him, so save one's self some stress from trying to compare whomever the starting QB is (over the years) to the almighty #13. And yes, I do recall Mr. Marino's past accomplishments. I really am not trying to start anything negative, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I think some are giving themselves too much grief over the "QB Soap Opera."

There hasn't been any Marino comparisons. This is just a silly rant by me not to be taken seriously. I just feel, in my opinion, that a lot of fans are wistfully hoping for Marino to come back (even though they know he won't/can't.) Since #13 is retired, anyone else after him will seem to be seen as a leper (j/k) that will never ever compare to Mr Marino. I support the QB of the Dolphins who is playing at gametime, I like Fiedler, so sue me. I like Griese, call me wishy washy. I just think some people cross their arms in disgust, because some think (___ QB) will never compare to Marino. Get past it peeps, move forward. Some probably don't even try to make comparisons between past to present QB's, fine by me. Some may not like Fiedler, some may not like Griese, but I just wish that some don't thrust whichever QB in the shadow of the past.

I'm not sure if this is a Smack forum thread, but I guess it will be moved if it is.

I'm just trying to figure out why we could never get a solid running back in all his years? All of a sudden he leaves and few years down the road we land someone like RW.
