there isn't really a standard, but don't go smaller than 26 AWG....the bigger the number...the smaller the wire.

my friend does the networking for the public schools in my area and they order their cables from here.
ive ordered a load of cables from them and all have come with great quality....never had one complaint.
i just got a dvi cable running from my pc to my 42 westinhouse and been playing halflife 2 and bf2 in 1080p...wow what a difference...than a flipping desk and 19inch monitor.

I just ordered a Plasma Wall mount, Hdmi Cable, and 6 speaker mounts for 55.26 including shipping...All I can say is WOW...That is at least 400 dollars at Circuit City...I love this site...If you buy a Dvi cable you can plug it into your Tv...? Like Dvi to Hdmi?

my westi has dvi input...so i got like a 35ft dvi cable.... to run from my computer to the westi. both dvi inputs. i had it running to the tv with s-video before..the difference is crazy.

the cables a lot thicker than i thought..so i keep it behind the desk then when i want to play i pull it out and plug it to the tv.

dude i got a westi not even really wanting to, i went by best buy one day to look for earphones for my ipod... but like any guy i had to swing by the tv's... and the guy told me they had this crazy deal on an lcd, so i looked... it was $1300 for the westi ..1080p - 42inches, plus they through in like a $150 little audio system with dvd player ... i couldnt pass up on that offer - cause ive been wanting a nice tv for my bedroom. tv is pretty awesome, for the price i got it at - its even more amazing. i dont know y it was like that price...i think its cause theyre making a new model or something.

when i came home to hook it up...i realized that the wall i wanted to hang it in my room had a pocket door behind it and i couldnt hang it any other place... so i ended up putting it in my room with my other tv. - its like the ultimate game/man room now - well at least for a regular guy.
