I know alot of people want Cameron as the coach. What if we get a coach, for example, Mora, just for example. And we PAY DEARLY for Cameron as the OC but with us? If H-zinga says he'll pay for wins, get Cam for OC. Is it not that simple?

is he still under contract with SD as an OC? If so i dont think SD would allow him to go.

if they are giving him permission to talk to others as a head coach, then why not for oc? Thats how I see it, then again, I dont know about contract stuff.

Because Head coach would be a promotion. going to a different team as an OC would not be.

Cam Cameron is under contract with the Chargers as their coordinator. They will let him go if he gets a promotion, i.e. head coach, but they won't let him go laterally, i.e. to another team as their Offensive coordinator. The NFL just doesn't work that way...

I know they are talking about making Capers the highest paid DC in the league in order to keep him. Maybe the same for Shottenheimer? Hmmmm. That would be awesome. Double Shottenheimers salary and Capers would be 2.5 mil or so. HC would have to be similar or more though. hmmmmm.
