May be a stupid Q but whats spam?

i first found out about a week ago myself. if someone would post like 10 posts at once that were unnecessary, those posts would be 'SPAM'. kinda like juke mail i guess.

you probably know this, but spam is also a cheap kind of canned meat you can buy.
