I don't see how this works.

Pittsburgh is known for shaping their defense the same way the "Steel City" is shaped. It's tough and hard working.

Spence is undersized for the league. IMO he needs to be moved to DB. He can't play the physical game that Pittsburgh likes to play.

If he gets moved to the secondary he'll have a better chance at making an impact and he'll have a great veteran to learn from as well.

Am I the only one that is surprised that Lamar Miller hasn't been drafted in the first three rounds?

He seems like he can fit with many teams.

    I'm not.

    I mean I kinda am...but he's a guy that would get the ball 7 times a game.

Too soft. He's not an every down back. He needs the ball out of the backfield the way Ray Rice gets it out of the backfield.

He refuses to run between the tackles and that's why he dances in the backfield.

    ELITE speed, though.

I know his speed is incredible. I was surprised when the Ravens didn't take him with their 3rd round pick. I thought he'd be a decent fit there.

That would be a damn good dual threat backfield. I never even considered that.

He'd also benefit in Cleveland. But Cleveland isn't going to draft two rookie RB.

That's what I was thinking. Combine Miller's great speed with Rice's toughness and that's a great backfield.

I had NFLN on at the time of that pick and Mayock said it would either be Pierce or Miller, and it ended up being Pierce. I would have liked to see Miller to there.

Pretty sweet pic of Miller and Vernon, now with the Miami Dolphins!
