How is miamis recruiting coming along??? Football going to have a good class coming in?

It's average. Kevin Olsen didn't blow me away in the Under Armour game yesterday. We have to get Alex Collins back but I don't see it unless the NCAA serves up punishment prior to signing day. Matthew Thomas is the jewel of the class if we can haul him in.

Well Miami just flat out stole Alquadin Muhammad from Notre Dame and Bama

Muhammad was rumored to be a Cane the past week or two. It actually would have been a huge upset today if he chose elsewhere.

Miami has gotten 3 commitments (Bush, McCord) out of this game the past two years, after losing seemingly every televised hat trick the previous half decade.

Now we'll be overconfident going forward.

I watched Muhammad quite a bit in this game. Very lean. Playing left defensive end. Looks like McCord but seems narrower and not as strong, even if his weight is higher. More sudden and agile than McCord.

USC has half the guys in this game, if I'm allowed to mention that. At 7-6 I guess it's okay.

Some sites are reporting that the University of Miami expects to receive the NCAA notice of allegations with 72 hours.

Indications that there may be charges against football, basketball and women's basketball.

As a private institution Miami doesn't have to release everything within the letter. They might release some aspects. Apparently it's 90 days to respond.

The timing could be the NCAA's attempt to screw the Canes in recruiting. No doubt some details will leak from other sources.

Apparently the NCAA notice arrived this morning. That's what Canes sites are reporting. Best case is we didn't get hit with "lack of institutional control" as opposed to some of the lesser terms like "failure to monitor."

It's very possible that aspect will leak to the media, even if nothing else does.
