I watched most of that game and I was impressed. If they play anywhere near what they did tonight, they should make the tourney. Beat a very well coached team as well.

Canes fans, Sebastian is losing to the Red Raider of Texas Tech. We can't let that happen. Put our favorite bird into the finals. Voting is unlimited so keep it up. Voting ends at noon EST today so we have about 2 hours to regain the lead and help him advance

Watching L'Ville beat the Gaytors' butts last night was bittersweet. We definitely got the wrong kid from Northwestern, and thats the understatement of the decade lol...

I came back to this thread just now because I had some U fans in the earlier pages of this thread try to tell me Teddy was "Jacory Harris 2.0". Yeah, not even close.

With U of L joining the ACC we would really like you guys to get your football team back on the rails. I want more great showdown with the U, FSU, et al!!

Kevin Sumlin just won 11 games at Texas A&M in his first season with a Freshman QB.

What is Al Golden waiting on.

to be fair, that is a bit of a special circumstance. A&M was a very talented team that underachieved with Sherman the year before for a variety of reasons. He walked into a team with arguably the best OL in football (with 2 first round tackles), deep at RB, and a lot of defensive talent despite being a horrible defense the year before (switching froma 3-4 to 4-3 did wonders for them). He also got lucky that Johnny Football had the greatest freshmen season of all time for a QB, and the WRs ended up adapting well.

All it really takes to turn a team around is 1 class that has leaders. Happened for Michigan (4 of our losses came to top 10 teams, 3 to Undefeated teams), but last year was such a great turnaround because we had some of the best leaders a team could ask for in Mike Martin, David Molk, Ryan Van Bergen, Junior Hemmingway, and Kevin Koger. They showed the young guys how to work and how to act after seeing 2 coaching changes (Martin and Koger were recruited by Carr but never played for him, the other 3 were Redshirts while Carr was here) and it helped morph the team.

Does Miami have a group of upperclassmen that can do the same thing?
