It is a lot of money but it shows that Blackburn isn't as serious about winning as was previously thought. The Rovers aren't in debt unlike almost every other EPL club so I didn't think Duff would actually be sold, but now it looks like he will be.

I thought the Rovers were on the way up, but I guess a UEFA Cup spot was the peak for the club.

However, if they can replace Duff with a solid player, this move will be understandible. 17 million pounds is a lot of money for a small club.
