Mafia for the PS2 comes out Nov. 11th. Illusion softworks took Rockstar's North blueprint and turned it to more of a realistic experience, instead of cartoonish like GTA. It looks very impressive with the LS3D engine being used like in the PC version and the controls have been made for the console; driving cars is easier and the mission pacing. Looks like it is only for PS2 right now.
