Does Ronnie Brown offers what Cameron wants as a running back? Is Booker the answer?

Well if you look at Lorenzo Booker you will see some similarities in what Coach Cameron wanted in a runningback. If you look at Ronnie Brown then you will ask yourself, what is he lacking? He can run the ball, catch it, but does he have that third gear?

Does he fit this type of description that Coach Cameron pointed on Booker?

Dolphins coach Cam Cameron calls Booker "a change-of-pace guy," meaning someone who can run the ball, catch it, even return it if necessary.

Ronnie is a good runningback but he is not naturally a change of pace guy. He is more of a north and south runner and I would want to see more of him but he needs to be careful about his back up. Once his contract gets big and he can be expandable then he will need to watch out.

If prediction is right, if we were to go into the playoffs according to two seasons ago, we would go without our star Running Back due to injury. I'm not trying to label Ronnie a bust but he needs to stay healthy or else he is going to lose his job to his back up.

So far we know that booker is not the biggest back in the league but we do know now that Ronnie is a good Runningback but he is not naturally a change of pace guy. He is more of a north and south runner. I would want to see more of him but he needs to be careful about his back up. Once his contract gets big and he can be expandable then he will need to watch out. It's been two seasons straight that Ronnie has missed some games.

That's a lot of assumptions. And by the way. Ronnie can run the ball, catch it and even return it if neccessary. Unless you've figured out a way to read people's thoughts then I wouldn't put too much thought into this.

Watch out for what? Ronnie is the best running back on this team.
Every damn player needs to stay healthy including Booker.

He is not going anywhere. Why would he need to be a "change of pace" back? :rolleyes2

You are not trying to label Ronnie a bust??....yeah right. :rolleyes2

Booker would really need to prove himself for that to happen.

If we lose him to injury every season that he has been a dolphin in the backfield with an average at 16 carries a game then how do you expect him to survive as a returner with that kind of acceleration?

Booker is just that..."a change of pace guy" not a full time starter and at 192 to 195 pounds, I doubt if he will ever be.

You will see, as a florida state fan I can tell you that he will impress you more than Ronnie.

He's missed three total games in two seasons I believe. It's not really a season killer.

So it's his fault he averaged 16 carries a game and not the coaching staff? lol
