New Da Vinci code wreaks Web havoc

Well, I can't find the image they're talking about because the websites are down or something.. maybe it will work later on.

In any case, this is what all the commotion is about:

"The famous fresco is already the focus of mythical speculation after author Dan Brown based his "The Da Vinci Code" book around the painting, arguing in the novel that Jesus married his follower, Mary Magdelene, and fathered a child.

Now Slavisa Pesci, an information technologist and amateur scholar, says superimposing the "Last Supper" with its mirror-image throws up another picture containing a figure who looks like a Templar knight and another holding a small baby.

had 15 million hits on Thursday morning alone, organizers said, adding they were trying to provide a more powerful server for the sites."

It's just interesting how this kind of stuff can generate that much interest, though I guess if you really believe in one story as opposed to another, it can evoke a strong response.

"To me, there are three things we all should do every day of our lives. Number one is laugh. You should laugh every day. Number two is think. You should spend some time in thought. And Number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy.

"If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special."

A book of fiction is rediculous?

Any updates to this? Anyone have the image that is causing the stir?

    Cool....

    The Original "Last Supper":

    Super-Imposed Image:

In the superimposed version, a figure on Christ's left appears to be cradling a baby in its arms, Pesci said, but he made no suggestion this could be Christ's child.

An enlarged version of that part of the image is shown below. Is that supposed to be Mary Magdalene with an infant, presumably hers and Jesus Christ's?

Judas, whose imminent betrayal of Christ is the force breaking the right-hand line of the original fresco, appears in an empty space on the left in the reverse image version.

Pesci also suggests that the superimposed version shows a goblet before Christ and illustrates when Christ blessed bread and wine at a supper with his disciples for the first Eucharist.

Pesci added that there appears two figures on either end of the long table that look like knights, as in the Knight Templars.

Cool pic's but what relevence have they?

No-one will ever know what Da Vinci ment by the painting. Its all just conspiracy that lacks any sort of substancial evidence.

You can make a conspiracy out of anything if you look for it.
